Jane Lockhart Named MIAA Offensive Player of the Week

UCO Freshman Scored Twice In Sunday Win

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Jane Lockhart was named MIAA Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week following a two-goal performance for the Bronchos.

The freshman from Norman, Oklahoma scored twice on Sunday in Central Oklahoma's 3-0 win at Nebraska Kearney. She helped the Bronchos win a pair of road games, with UCO winning 2-0 at Fort Hays State on Friday night.

Lockhart scored the first two goals of her career on Sunday and did it in just 33 minutes of play – the fewest minutes this season. She took four shots in the game, also a season high. Lockhart has taken 12 shots this season, with seven on goal.

Central Oklahoma is 4-4-4 this season with a 2-2-2 record in the MIAA. The Bronchos are home this week and will take on No. 9 Central Missouri Friday night at 7 p.m. and Missouri Southern Sunday at 1 p.m.
