Three Bronchos Named Rowers To Watch

Central Oklahoma Is No. 3 In the CRCA Preseason National Rankings

The College Rowing Coaches Association announced Tuesday Athletes to Watch in 2024 and three Central Oklahoma rowers are among those listed.

Senior All-American Emily Overholt is one of two coxswains listed, and two-time All-American Faith Brooks, along with Victoria Petschnig, are two of 12 rowers listed as athletes to watch.

Central Oklahoma was picked second in the GNAC Preseason Coaches' Poll after winning the conference title last season. The Bronchos were picked third in the CRCA preseason national rankings.

The Bronchos got their 2024 season started last weekend with races against Tulsa and Creighton. UCO beat Creighton in three races while Tulsa won three.

Central returns to the water March 23 with the Falcon Regatta in Seattle, Washington.
