Bronchos Pick Up Prolific Goal Scorer

Sami Allen Transferring To UCO After Spending Three Seasons At Oklahoma State

EDMOND – Central Oklahoma women's soccer added one more to its 2025 signing class through the transfer portal with the addition of Sami Allen from Oklahoma State.

From Noble, Oklahoma, Allen appeared in six games for the Cowgirls this past season as a sophomore. She did not play in 2023 after appearing in 11 games in her freshman season.

"Sami is a really good pick up for us," UCO head women's soccer coach Amel Muhamedagic said. "She brings experience to the lineup and as a forward, can help us up front with our offense. She is also familiar with most of our team having played club in Oklahoma."

Allen played high school soccer at Noble and scored 169 career goals, a mark considered to be the most in Oklahoma prep history. She put 56 goals in the back of the net during her senior season in 2022, when she was named Gatorade Oklahoma Girls Soccer Player of the Year. Allen also played club soccer for Oklahoma Celtic ECNL and was twice named ECNL All-Texas Conference performer.

In 2022 at OSU, Allen took two shots and put one on goal in her first collegiate game at Stephen F. Austin. She came off the bench in 11 games that season and played a total of 99 minutes. In 2023, Allen did not play.

Allen played in six games this past fall for OSU, taking four shots and putting two of those on target. She took three shots in 24 minutes of action against Texas A&M Commerce.

Central Oklahoma finished the 2024 season with a 12-7-4 record. The Bronchos were the No. 4 seed in the MIAA Championship and reached the finals before earning the program's 16th bid to the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship. UCO was also the No. 4 seed in the Central Regional and advanced to the regional semifinal.
