Addison Wimmer, who was named Denton Volleyfest MVP, was joined by Sydney Huck, Jenna Karp, Mallorie Koehn, and Lindsey Houran on the team. UCO had five selections. Texas Woman's also had five, while Augustana had four picks. Illinois-Springfield and Ouachita Baptist both had one selection.

Central Oklahoma went 4-0, sweeping Arkansas-Monticello, Illinois-Springfield, and Ouachita. The Bronchos also beat the hosts, Texas Woman's, 3-2.

Wimmer played all 14 sets in the four matches this weekend and had 49 kills. She hit .307 in the four games too while averaging 3.50 kills per set. Wimmer, a junior transfer from Yukon, Oklahoma, also had 24 digs and seven blocks on defense and one service ace for the weekend.

Huck played in 13 of 14 sets and was a strong point of attack for the Bronchos. She had 39 total kills, 3.0 per set, and hit .281 for the weekend. Huck even had six assists in four matches to go with one ace. On defense, the sophomore from McKinney, Texas, had 26 digs and two blocks.

Huck had a season-high 20 kills in the win over TWU on Friday night. It's the 12th time in her career to land 20 kills and that puts her with the sixth-most in UCO history.

Karp played in 12 of 14 sets and was solid both offensively and defensively for the Bronchos. The junior from Spring, Texas averaged 2.75 kills per set and had 10 blocks on the weekend. She finished the four matches with 33 total kills and also had two aces. She had five solo blocks and was in on five block assists. Karp also had 14 digs.

Koehn played in 12 sets, averaging 2.17 kills per set. The junior from Wichita, Kansas finished the weekend with 26 kills in four matches. She also had 21 digs, five service aces, and two blocks.

Houran played in three of four matches in Denton this weekend, taking the fourth match, against Ouachita, off. But in her time on the floor, Houran was her brilliant self. She had 105 assists in 11 sets, 9.55 assists per set. Houran had 59 assists in the five-set win over Texas Woman's on Friday night. The sophomore from Colleyville, Texas also had eight kills and five aces on the week. She had 38 digs and one block too on defense.

Central Oklahoma is scheduled to make its home debut Tuesday night against Oklahoma Baptist. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. inside Hamilton Field House.

The Bronchos are 8-1 on the season as they prepare to play their final non-conference match of the season against OBU. The Bison of Shawnee, Oklahoma are 4-4 on the season and come to Edmond with a two-game win streak.

OBU has a 1-3 record against Top 25 teams already this season, not shying away from a brutal non-conference schedule. The Bison lost to No. 11 Southwest Minnesota State and No. 12 West Florida in Week 1 and also lost to No. 17 Washburn last weekend in Topeka. Oklahoma Baptist then beat No. 15 Northwest Missouri. OBU is also 2-1 against the MIAA this season.

Central Oklahoma has a 5-5 all-time record against Oklahoma Baptist. The Bison won all four matches in 1987 when the series began. UCO is 5-1 against OBU since 2015 when it resumed. That includes a 3-2 win last season in Shawnee.
