Foursome Earns Academic All-American Honors

NORMAN, Okla. – Four UCO men's golfers earned academic awards for their efforts in the classroom during the 2022-23 year, the Golf Coaches Association of American announced Wednesday.

Bennett Baldwin, Evan Griffith, Caleb Kimmel, and Ross Taylor were all named GCAA All-American Scholars.

Baldwin, a sophomore Stillwater, Oklahoma, Griffith, a junior from Greenwood, Arkansas, and Taylor, a junior from Edmond, Oklahoma, are all Professional Golf Management majors in UCO's College of Business. Kimmel, a junior from Olathe, Kansas, is a General Business major.

Griffith is now a three-time winner of the award (2021, 2022, 2023) while Kimmel is a two-time winner (2022, 2023).

The UCO foursome led the Bronchos to the NCAA Division II regional championships this past Spring, winning one tournament and finishing in the top five in seven tournaments.
