Central Leads MIAA Men's Golf Standings

Bronchos Have Won All Three League Events This Season

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The MIAA announced Wednesday its Men's Golf standings update following the third league event of the season and Central Oklahoma remained in first place.

UCO has 33 team points following its third win in as many league events. Washburn is in second with 27.5 points followed by Central Missouri (26) and Pittsburg State (25).

The MIAA has four designated events each season – two in the fall, one spring event, plus the MIAA Men's Golf Championship. Points are awarded based on finishes in those tournaments. UCO has won all three designated events this season.

The Bronchos also have the top two individuals, three of the top four, and four of the top six, in the league points. Nick Canales leads the MIAA with 34 points and Rhett Hughes is second with 31. Bryant Polhill (23) is fourth and Baylor Bostick (21) sixth. Karsten Paciotti (7.5) and Ty Hyatt (0.2) have also scored points in the individual standings.

UCO won Northeastern State and Missouri Southern's events in the fall, as well as Pittsburg State's event earlier this week. After the Bronchos take on Washburn's Firekeeper Invitational next week in Mayetta, Kansas, UCO will head to the postseason with the 2026 MIAA Men's Golf Championships April 13-15 in Jefferson City, Missouri.
