Central Oklahoma finished the 2023 season ranked No. 2 in the Pocock College Rowing Coaches Association national rankings, it was announced Thursday.

The top six spots in the rankings reflect the finish at the 2023 NCAA Division II Rowing Championships last week. Central Oklahoma earned a national runner-up finish for the third time by finishing second in both the Varsity 8+ and Varsity 4+ boats. Cal Poly Humboldt, which is No. 1 in the final rankings, finished first in both races to win the national title.
UCO finished second at the NCAA championships for the third time in the last seven years. The Bronchos also finished national runners-up in 2016 and 2017 before winning it all in three consecutive seasons (2018, 2019, 2021).
