Boyar, a fifth-year senior from San Antonio, Texas, was named First Team All-MIAA at No. 4 Singles, in addition to being named Honorable Mention at No. 1 Doubles. The veteran Broncho has garnered postseason accolades from the MIAA four times in her five-year career (2020 didn't happen) and has a total of seven All-MIAA awards.

"Nikki has been such a great person to have in our program and for this university," UCO head women's tennis coach Joe Vann said. "I've only coached her for two years, but she is such a great teammate and we are so proud of her. She has more wins than anyone ever here at UCO and will also be able to say she is the most decorated too."

Boyar has an 11-6 record this spring with a 5-2 mark in the MIAA. She has won five in a row heading into this weekend's MIAA Women's Tennis Championships at Edmond Center Court. Boyar is also 14-5 in doubles play this spring with teammate Blythe Buntrock. The duo is ranked No. 4 in the country in this week's ITA Doubles Top 50.

UCO had a handful of Honorable Mention All-MIAA awards announced Wednesday in addition to Boyar and Buntrock.

Pete Komada (No. 2), Nefeli Zafeiri (No. 3), and Karyna Yurchenko (No. 6) earned Honorable Mention All-MIAA Singles awards, while Komada and Zafeiri together (No. 2) earned Honorable Mention All-MIAA Doubles awards.

The Bronchos are the No. 5 seed in the six-team postseason tournament and will play No. 4 seed Northeastern State Friday at 4 p.m. The winner gets top-seeded Northwest Missouri Saturday morning in the semifinals.
