UCO Up Three Spots In Latest ITA Poll

TEMPE, Ariz. – Central Oklahoma moved up three spots in the national rankings this week, with the Bronchos now ranked No. 27 in the country in the latest ITA poll.

UCO has an 8-9 record overall on the season. The Bronchos just wrapped up four consecutive matches against nationally ranked opponents. The Bronchos are also 3-3 in MIAA play. There are just two matches left in the regular season for Central, with those coming Saturday and Sunday in Kansas.
 
The ITA also announced its latest rankings in both singles and doubles and Central Oklahoma is represented in both.
 
Nikki Boyar and Blythe Buntrock continue to represent the Bronchos among the best in the country as a doubles team. The duo is ranked No. 4 in this week's ITA Doubles Top 50. The duo has a 12-5 record on the year.
 
Pete Komada is also back in the ITA Singles Top 75, coming in at No. 32 in the national rankings this week. The freshman has an 8-9 record in her first season of collegiate tennis.
 
Central Oklahoma heads to Emporia State on Saturday and Newman on Sunday to wrap up the regular season. The Bronchos will then turn to the 2023 MIAA Women's Tennis Championship, which UCO is hosting at Edmond Center Court April 21-23.
