Bronchos Host Pitt State

EDMOND – Central Oklahoma returns to Wendell Simmons Field this weekend for a three-game MIAA series against Pittsburg State.

First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday. The two schools will also play at 3 p.m. Saturday and wrap up the series at 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

"They're a really good team all around, they have good pitching and hitting," UCO head baseball coach John Martin said. "You have to be focused against them. You have to play through 27 outs. We have a good team too, so it should be a good series."

Pittsburg State is also 21-9 on the season but has a 13-4 record in the MIAA. The Gorillas come to Edmond with a two-game losing streak.
