Biography

Right-handed senior pitcher that will lead the Broncho pitching staff in 2023 ... Has been a versatile arm for the Bronchos for the last three seasons, coming out of the bullpen as well as making starts ... Knows how to get outs and keep his pitch count down ... Using an eligibility extension from the pandemic to finish career ... Transferred to UCO from Seminole State.

2022: Made 23 appearances with six starts ... Went 5-3 with a 5.34 ERA ... Struck out 79 batters in 59 innings of work ... Made 11 appearances without giving up an earned run and didn't allow a run at all in 10 of those games ... Struck out a career-high eight in a one-hit gem at Missouri Western early in the season ... Had five or more strikeouts in nine appearances.

2021: Made 17 appearances in 2021 with six starts ... Went 3-2 with a 5.13 ERA ... Struck out 62 batters in 52 2/3 innings of work ... Threw one complete game, striking out four while allowing six hits and one run in a big time postseason performance, winning an elimination game for the Bronchos on the road at Missouri Southern ... Also had one save ... Career-high 11 strikeouts at Rogers State on May 1 ... Had at least five strikeouts in five games ... Made five appearances (5 1/3 combined innings) without allowing an earned run.  

2020: Made five relief appearances for the Bronchos ... Did not allow a run in six innings of work ... Opponents hit a measly .105 against him ... Registered seven strikeouts in six innings of work ... Only walked three batters ... Only allowed two hits ... Earned his first career win for the Bronchos after throwing one scoreless inning of a thriller at Oklahoma Baptist (Central won 14-9 after trailing 8-0).

JUCO: Spent two seasons at Seminole, redshirting one of those years ... Went 6-1 in 63 innings out of the bullpen in 2018 ... Had 85 strikeouts, 12.1 per nine innings, and a 4.14 earned run average in 15 relief appearances for the season.

High School: All-State selection out of Berryhill High School ... Played in state finals ... Also earned All-State honors in football.

Personal: Accounting major ... Enjoys hunting ... Lists the St. Louis Cardinals as his favorite sports team ... Birthdate is May 21, 1998.
