UCO Debuts At No. 13 In NCBWA Top 25

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Central Oklahoma is ranked No. 13 in the country, according to the first regular season National College Baseball Writers Association Top 25 announced Wednesday.

UCO is 7-1 after two weeks of play in 2023. The Bronchos have played all eight games at home, posting a 3-0 record at the Edmond First Pitch Classic to open the season two weeks ago. Central Oklahoma also beat Southern Nazarene and went 3-1 against the University of Mary (N.D.) this past weekend.

Central is hosting Oklahoma Baptist Wednesday night at Wendell Simmons Field. The Bronchos already beat OBU 5-2 in the final game of the Edmond First Pitch Classic.

UCO is off this weekend, then will play its first road game of the year at Southern Nazarene in Bethany, Okla. next Tuesday.
