Amaya Grace Earns All-Region Honor

Central Oklahoma Senior Forward Led The Bronchos In Goals Scored, Points, Shots, and Shots On Goal

WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Central Oklahoma senior forward Amaya Grace was named All-Region by the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association, it was announced Tuesday.

Grace earned Second Team All-Region for the Central Region. The fifth year forward and UCO graduate student-athlete led the Bronchos in several categories this fall.
 
The Little Elm, Texas native returned to the Bronchos for one more year utilizing an NCAA eligibility extension from the pandemic. She used her extra time to lead the Broncho offense.
 
Grace scored a team-high 11 goals and added two assists. She had a team-high 24 points. Grace also led the Bronchos in total shots (47) and shots on goal (23).
 
Grace scored a goal in nine games this season, including each of the last five games. She had a hat trick in a win over Newman on the final day of the regular season, which propelled Central Oklahoma to the MIAA Soccer Championship as the No. 7 seed.
 
Grace, who earned All-MIAA honors in 2022 and 2023, is the 48th player in UCO history to earn All-Region accolades.
