UCO Adds A Dozen For 2024

Central Oklahoma Inks 12 In Early Signing Period

EDMOND – Central Oklahoma soccer inked a dozen in the early signing period this month, with 12 newcomers set to join the Bronchos in 2024.
 
"We are very excited to add this talented group of players and their families to our program," UCO associate head coach Amel Muhamedagic said. "It's been great getting to know them thru the recruiting process and this class will improve our team in all areas on and off the field. We look forward to welcoming all of them in the fall of 2024."
 
Muhamedagic has been UCO's assistant for 17 years. He will move into the role of head coach in 2024 following the retirement of 25-year head coach Mike Cook.
 
Jordan Hahn, Caleah Carter, Evelyn Sdynes, Ella Swonger, Madylin Wiley, Jordan Tanges, Greta Likens, Adison Knocke, Kaitlyn Cotton, Sheridan Ross, Sophia Sallusti, and Bianca Lopez make up the signing class.
 
Of the dozen, 10 are from Oklahoma. Likens (Kansas) and Sallusti (Texas) are the two out-of-staters. Six of the 10 Oklahomans are from Edmond.
 
Here's a breakdown of each signee:
 
Jordan Hahn, F, Piedmont, Okla., WSA
Coach says: Jordan is very talented forward that can play anywhere up front. She is a constant threat for opposing teams and will immediately add value to our front line.
 
Caleah Carter, F, Edmond, Okla., OEFC
Coach says: Caleah is great athlete and extremely hard worker that can produce goals as a target forward and her versatility to play in any attacking role will be very valuable to our team.
 
Evelyn Sydnes, D, Piedmont, Okla., WSA
Coach says: Evelyn is a hard-working defender that can play in multiple positions and brings an arial threat that our team will benefit from right away.
 
Ella Swonger, D, Edmond, Okla., OEFC
Coach says: Ella is very athletic defender that can play in multiple positions in our back line and will add much needed depth to our team.
 
Madylin Wiley, D, Edmond, Okla., OEFC
Coach says: Madylin is very talented defender who works really hard on and off the ball. She is a good one on one defender and will bring great physical presence to our team.
 
Jordan Tanges, MF, Edmond, Okla., OEFC
Coach says: Jordan is gifted attacking player and her versatility to play anywhere in the attack will immediately impact our team.
 
Greta Likens, MF, Leawood, Kan., KC Athletics
Coach says: Greta is a player that is really good in and out of possession. Technically very clean and good on the ball and can link from the back to the front and is a great fit for our style of play.
 
Adison Knocke, D, Edmond, Okla., OEFC
Coach says: Adison is a wide back who is very dynamic and loves to get forward to join the attack, her athleticism and pace will really help us in how we like to attack with our wide players.
 
Kaitlyn Cotton, MF, Edmond, Okla., OEFC
Coach says: Kaitlyn is extremely tough and hard-working player and has a great presence in the air. She will bring a competitive mindset to our team.
 
Sheridan Ross, F, Bixby, Okla., WSA
Coach says: Sheridan is a talented wide player that can go at players and has the ability to be a handful for the opposing defenders.
 
Sophia Sallusti, D, Prosper, Texas, FC Dallas
Coach says: Sophia is a great athlete and very good one on one defender. She is a versatile player that can play anywhere in the back line and will add depth to our back line with her competitive mindset.
 
Bianca Lopez, MF, Broken Arrow, Okla., Tulsa SC
Coach says: Bianca is a player that is good in and out of possession and has very good range of passes. She is very versatile and can play in any of the central positions.
