Evans, along with Sydney Huck and Jenna Karp, were named First Team All-MIAA. All three were First Team selections a year ago and Karp was also a Second Team pick in 2021, making her the ninth player in school history to earn three all-conference awards.

Lindsey Houran, Mallorie Koehn, and Addison Wimmer were each named Second Team All-MIAA. Houran and Koehn both earned the same honor last year.

Evans is the first player from Central Oklahoma to earn MIAA Defensive Player of the Year honors. She earned the league's Defensive Player of the Week honors six times in 11 weeks this season. Evans, who earned All-American honors a year ago, leads the country this fall averaging 6.35 digs per set.

Evans played in 26 of 30 matches this year for the Bronchos. She has at least 20 digs in 13 matches this season, with a career-high 37 digs on three different occasions. Her 610 digs so far this season ranks No. 10 in UCO history. She tallied 775 digs a year ago and ranked third on Central's all-time single season list.

Huck was named MIAA Freshman of the Year last season and is now a two-time First Team pick after a standout sophomore campaign. The outside hitter has 320 kills in 30 matches this season and is averaging 3.37 kills per set. Huck has double-digit kills in 17 matches, including a season-high 20 kills back in September.

Karp becomes a three-time All-MIAA selection after a big junior season this fall. She leads the league in hitting percentage this season with the middle hitting .352 in 30 matches played (104 sets). Karp has 303 kills on the year and averages 2.91 per set. Karp is also a force in the middle on defense with 84 blocks this season. She averages 0.81 per set with 25 solo blocks and 59 block assists.

Houran adds a second All-MIAA selection to her resume after a big sophomore season. She earned MIAA Setter of the Week a league-best five times this season. The sophomore dished out 993 assists in 27 matches played. She averaged 10.56 assists per set in 94 sets played. Houran has at least 20 assists in 25 matches, 30 assists in 18 matches, 40 in 12 matches, 50 assists in seven matches, and a season-high 60 assists once.

Koehn also adds a second All-MIAA selection to her resume after a standout junior campaign. She posted 271 kills in 30 matches this season, averaging 2.63 kills per set through 103 sets played. Koehn had a season-high 18 kills in a three-set sweep of Northwest Missouri last month. She had 11 matches with at least 10 kills this season.

Wimmer earned Great American Conference Freshman of the Year in 2021 and was a Second Team All-GAC pick. She was First Team All-GAC in 2022 before transferring to UCO in January. She's now a three-time all-conference selection with this season's Second Team All-MIAA honor. Wimmer led the Bronchos with 333 kills in 30 matches this season. She averages 3.11 kills per set and has played in 107 of 109 sets for the Bronchos.

Central Oklahoma is the No. 2 seed in the 2023 MIAA Volleyball Championship, which begins Thursday in St. Joseph, Missouri at Civic Arena. The Bronchos play No. 7 seed Missouri Southern at noon Thursday.
