LEXINGTON, Ky. – Central Oklahoma is ranked No. 12 in the country in the American Volleyball Coaches' Preseason Poll, announced Monday.
UCO opens the 2026 season on Thursday, Aug. 27 in Magnolia, Arkansas. The Bronchos are competing in the Southern Arkansas Classic and will face SAU in the opener. UCO plays four matches in two days to start the season there.
The first nine are on the road for the Bronchos. After a single match at Oklahoma Baptist, UCO plays four in Denton, Texas as part of Texas Woman's Volleyfest.
Central Oklahoma plays at home for the first time with the Central Region Challenge Sept. 10-12 at Hamilton Field House. The Bronchos will play Southwestern Oklahoma State, Northeastern State, East Central, and Ouachita Baptist that weekend in Edmond.
UCO went 27-6 last season and reached the NCAA Division II Volleyball Championship for the second year in a row. The Bronchos were ranked inside the Top 10, including reaching No. 1 in the country for the first time in school history, before ending the year 13th in the final postseason poll.
