Defending MIAA regular season champion Central Missouri was picked first and last season's MIAA tournament champion Emporia State was picked second, just two points in front of the Bronchos.

Central Oklahoma finished tied for third last season before reaching the MIAA's postseason tournament semifinals and the NCAA Division II national tournament. The Bronchos return 17 from that squad and have added 10 newcomers.

"We're just getting started with camp but we've had a good week," UCO head soccer coach Mike Cook said. "We're looking forward to getting started with the regular season and seeing what this team can do."

UCO opened Fall Camp earlier this week and will train for two weeks before school begins. Central Oklahoma opens the 2022 regular season Aug. 25 against Oklahoma Christian in Oklahoma City. The Bronchos will also face Minnesota State Aug. 28 in Joplin, Missouri.

Central Oklahoma opens the gates to its home Tom Thompson Field on Thursday, Sept. 1 with a non-conference matchup against East Central.

The Bronchos have an 18-game regular season schedule this Fall, including 11 MIAA contests. UCO will play eight matches at home.
