Soccer Makes Another Addition

Oklahoma Standout Transfers to Central

EDMOND – Central Oklahoma announced another addition to its 2022 soccer squad Tuesday with transfer Albany Adair set to join the Bronchos this Fall.

"Albany is an athletic forward, good with both feet, and she will give added depth to the front line," UCO head soccer coach Mike Cook said.

Originally from Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, Adair is a transfer from Oral Roberts, where she played last season. Adair appeared in two games for the Golden Eagles during the 2021 season, both coming in reserve duty in the early non-conference season.

She made her collegiate debut in a 5-0 win at Arkansas-Pine Bluff before making her second appearance in a 3-0 win over Northwestern Oklahoma State.

Adair helped Fort Gibson high school to four consecutive district titles and she was named Most Valuable Player her senior season by The Muskogee Phoenix.

Central Oklahoma opens the 2022 in August with a trip down to Oklahoma City to take on the Oklahoma Christian Eagles. UCO will also play Minnesota State in Joplin, Missouri during the two-match opening weekend. The Bronchos will play their first home game in 2022 Thursday, Sept. 1 against East Central.
