The Canete sisters also make up the No. 1 team in the country in the ITA Doubles Top 25. The duo from Los Angeles won the ITA Doubles National Championship this fall in Georgia and got off to a good start on the Spring semester with a victory last weekend.

Adel-Byanu Abidullina, who is playing No. 3 for the third-ranked Bronchos this season, is ranked No. 5 in the country. A two-time MIAA Player of the Year, Abidullina is off to another solid start to this her final season with the Bronchos.

Grace Chadick is ranked No. 21 in the country in the ITA Singles Top 50 and she is looking to bounce back after a season-opening loss last weekend against UT-Tyler. A freshman, Chadick paved her own way to the ITA Central Regional Championship semifinals this past fall.

Tizia Brocks and Nikki Boyar are both 1-0 this season. Abidullina and Boyar together are ranked No. 21 in the country in the ITA Doubles Top 25. Abidullina played with Brocks as a doubles partner last weekend.

Dallas Baptist is 5-0 this season. That includes four wins back in the fall semester – three against Division II opponents and one win over a DIII school at the Pueblo Duals in Colorado. DBU beat NAIA Texas Wesleyan Thursday. The Patriots are receiving votes in the ITA Top 25. Taylor Leslie is the only player ranked in the ITA Singles Top 50.

Central Oklahoma is playing at home, or in the near vicinity of campus, for the entire month of February. That stretch concludes with the ITA Indoor National Championship hosted by UCO at Edmond Center Court later this month.
