Bronchos End Fall Season With Tulsa Cup

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – Central Oklahoma wraps up its Fall schedule with The Tulsa Cup, hosted by Rogers State Monday and Tuesday at the Club at Forest Ridge.

UCO is playing 54 holes in two days, with 36 scheduled for Monday and the final round set for Tuesday.

"We're hopeful to finish the semester strong this week," UCO head women's golf coach Michael Bond said. "We've had some good moments and we're trying to be more consistent. This will be a good tournament and we look forward to ending the Fall part of our schedule on a good note."

Central Oklahoma had played four tournaments in four weeks before taking a week off. Now the Bronchos wrap up the Fall slate in Broken Arrow.

Jirasuda Khunarak leads the Bronchos into Forest Ridge. The junior from Thailand is averaging a 76.8 in four tournaments this season. Khunarak has finished fifth, sixth and 15th in her last three tournaments.

Junior Emma Shelley is second on the team with a 78.1 scoring average after four tournaments. Shelley, from Bartlesville, has finished in the Top 20 twice and was 26th two weeks ago in Missouri.

Madison O'Dell, a senior from Owasso, is averaging a 78.8 through 10 rounds of golf. O'Dell finished tied for fifth at Central's Grace Shin Invitational earlier this month at the Golf Club of Edmond.

Mika Ramos is a junior from Tulsa. She is averaging an 80 through 10 rounds of golf this Fall. Ramos' 1-under 71 in the Dallas Baptist Classic in Septebmer is the low round for any Broncho this season.

Arin Zachary has played in three of four tournaments this season. The senior from Abilene, Texas is averaging an 82 through seven rounds of golf. Zachary's 4-over 75 is her low round of the Fall.

Central Oklahoma will tee off Monday morning in the first of two rounds at Forest Ridge before Tuesday's final round. The Bronchos will then break until 2023. UCO is hosting – in Houston, Texas – the Southern Invite Feb. 20-21 to begin the Spring season for the Bronchos.
