MIAA Honors Softball Student-Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The University of Central Oklahoma softball team had 12 student-athletes honored Monday when the MIAA announced its annual postseason academic awards.

A dozen Bronchos earned a spot on the 2021 MIAA Softball Honor Roll, given to student-athletes carrying a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher that have been at their respective school for two complete semesters. UCO's true freshmen and transfers may be recognized next month.
 
In addition to the Honor Roll, six of those Bronchos were recognized as MIAA Scholar Athletes. That award is given to those student-athletes that have at least a 3.5 GPA and also were honored on the field as All-MIAA this season.
 
Aleah Bozarth, Lexy Dobson, Tarin Dubler, Allie Eicher, Brighton Gilbert, Kylee Lynch, Bailey McKittrick, Audrie Morrison, Hazel Puempel, Halley Randolph, Tori Ritz, and Corrina Rivas were all named to the MIAA Honor Roll.
 
Dobson, Dubler, Eicher, Gilbert, Lynch, and Puempel were also named Scholar Athletes.
