Lemos Named CSC Academic All-American Team Member of the Year

Top Honors Continue To Roll In For UCO Softball Standout

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Central Oklahoma softball star Rylee Lemos earned All-American honors from multiple outlets following her senior season. Tuesday, she was named College Sports Communicators Academic All-American and was listed as the team member of the year.
 
Lemos holds a 4.0 grade point average and is preparing to graduate with her bachelor's degree in human resource management. The South Coffeyville, Oklahoma native was named the MIAA Player of the Year, MIAA Defensive Player of the Year, the D2CCA Central Region Player of the Year, and the MIAA Female Student-Athlete of the Year prior to earned CSC Academic All-American Softball Team Member of the Year.
 
NiJaree Canady (Texas Tech), Lemos, Emma Adams (Virginia Wesleyan), and Analise Rayburn (Oklahoma City) were each named team members of the Year for Division I, II, III, and NAIA.
 
The Division II Academic All-American team is made up of 33 student-athletes and 14 of them have unblemished 4.0 GPAs. Of the 11 First Team Academic All-American selections, the combined GPA is 3.91, and for the entire 33-person squad, the combined GPA is 3.90.
 
Lemos not only has a perfect 4.0 GPA, she churned out equally impressive highlights on the softball field for the Bronchos. Lemos is a two-time All-American that hit .404 this season in 62 games played. She ranked among the best in the nation in RBIs (72) and runs scored (67). Lemos hit 15 home runs this season to go along with 19 doubles and seven triples. She added 16 stolen bases too.
 
In her four-year career in Bronze & Blue, Lemos played in and started every single game (245) from 2023-26.
