Central Oklahoma Heads To Austin, Texas

AUSTIN, Texas – The University of Central Oklahoma rowing team is scheduled to compete in the 2021 Longhorn Invite Saturday on Walter E. Long Lake with the Bronchos set for a handful of racing against some of the best competition in the country.

Central Oklahoma is the No. 1 ranked team in Division II and will face several nationally ranked Division I boats, including No. 2 Texas, No. 10 Alabama, and No. 14 SMU. Notre Dame and Tulsa will be there as well, with both schools receiving votes in the national polls.

The Broncho eights are unbeaten this season, having won a pair of races in Seattle last month and another race in Tulsa earlier this month.

The Central fours have one victory in three races with two runner-up finishes.
