UCO Visits Southwestern

WEATHERFORD, Okla. – The University of Central Oklahoma soccer team is scheduled to play Southwestern Oklahoma State Monday at 3:30 p.m. in a non-conference spring season matchup.

Central Oklahoma is 3-1 during its modified spring season following the cancellation of its tradition fall campaign. The Bronchos have wins over Midwestern State (1-0), Oklahoma Christian (3-1), and Washburn (2-0).

Taryn Kedzior leads Central Oklahoma with three goals scored this season. She scored once in each of the last three games.

Monika McGee has two goals for the Bronchos through four games played this season. She scored in UCO's win over Oklahoma Christian and in the win over Washburn.

Emily Tincher (Midwestern State) and Kaylee Collins (Oklahoma Christian) both have scored once this season.

Kaitlyn Asher has played 135 minutes in goal in two appearances this spring. She has seven saves and has allowed four goals. Bailey Ledbetter and Caroline Faulkner have both played 90 minutes in goal. Ledbetter picked up a win over Washburn and had a clean sheet even though she didn't record any saves. Faulkner has one save and also has no goals allowed. Kelsi Gibson has played 45 minutes this season and has one save and one goal allowed.

Central Oklahoma is in action twice this weekend. The Bronchos play April 1 at Fort Hays State and will host Newman April 3 for its next scheduled home match.
