UCO 10th In Arkansas

CABOT, Ark. (March 1) – The Central Oklahoma women's golf team struggled on the first day of the Natural State Classic Monday, shooting an opening round 327.

The Bronchos are 10th in the 17-team event heading into Tuesday's final round at the 6,018-yard, par-72 Cypress Creek Golf Club. Missouri-St. Louis leads with a 288, followed by Arkansas Tech (298) and Southwestern Oklahoma (307).

Susana Olivares, Sydney Roberts and Madison O'Dell all carded first-round 81s, while Emma Shelley shot 84 and Mika Ramos 90. Emily Miller had an 82 competing as an individual medalist.
