Soccer Announces Signing Class

EDMOND – The University of Central Oklahoma soccer team announced its signing class following the November signing period, and six newcomers will join the Central squad in the fall of 2021.

Central inked four midfielders and a pair of defenders for the upcoming year. 

Entering his 24th year as head coach of the Bronchos, Mike Cook, along with 10th-year assistant head coach Amel Muhamedagic shared this coaches' outlook for their signing class:

"Although this class is fairly small, we feel we have addressed some very specific needs that will definitely strengthen our program in the future."

Here is a closer look at each signee.

Madison Linavong
Allen High School | Allen, Texas | Sting ECNL
Coaches Say:
A very talented midfielder who is good in possession and will provide offensive depth to a strong midfield core. 

Lauren Hinnenkamp
Liberty North High School | Liberty, Mo. | KC Athletics
Coaches Say:  A creative midfielder who will cause problems for opposing defenses. 

Matilda Torres
Hebron High School | Lewisville, Texas | Sting ECNL
Coaches Say:  A very versatile midfielder who can play in several different positions and definitely adds extra depth to our attack.

Madison Hayes
Broken Arrow High School | Broken Arrow, Okla. | Tulsa SC ECNL
Coaches Say:  An athletic physical presence who is very versatile and adds to a very solid back line. 

Harmony Turner
Broken Arrow High School | Tulsa, Okla. | WSA GA 
Coaches Say:  A speedy tough midfielder who can  create opportunities on the wings.


Megan Wilson
Edmond Santa Fe High School | Edmond, Okla. | OEFC GA 02-03 

Coaches Say:  A good local product who will add depth to the back line and has the ability to get forward out of the back.
