Bronchos Unanimous No. 1 In Latest CRCA Poll

The University of Central Oklahoma rowing team is the No. 1 ranked team in the nation for the fourth consecutive poll.

The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association announced Wednesday its national rankings and listed the Bronchos as the top team in NCAA Division II. It's the fourth poll of the 2019 season and the fourth time the Bronchos were picked No. 1.

Central Oklahoma received all five first-place votes for the third time in four weeks. The Bronchos received 200 total points in the poll.

This week's rankings come on the heels of the Central Sprints. The Bronchos hosted six of the Top 10 teams in the country in Oklahoma City last weekend and proved why they deserve to be ranked No. 1. Central Oklahoma won its Varsity 4+ and Varsity 8+ preliminary and final races.

UCO is off for a couple more weeks. The Bronchos don't compete again until the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships in Sacramento, Calif. April 27-28.
