UCO Earns NCAA Tourney Bid

INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Central Oklahoma women's golf team was selected to the NCAA Division II national tournament, it was announced Monday.

Central Oklahoma will compete in the Central Regional along with 11 other schools from the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, the Great American Conference, and the Northern Sun.

The tournament will take place May 6-8 at the Muskogee Country Club in Muskogee, Okla. Teams will play one round each day for a 54-hole tournament. The top four teams from the regional will advance to the NCAA Division II national championships in West Palm Beach, Fla. May 14-18.

Central Oklahoma has finished in the top eight in every tournament it has played this season. UCO finished third once in the fall and twice in the spring, including each of the past two tournaments.
