Rowing No. 1 For 15th Consecutive Poll

INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Central Oklahoma rowing team once again retained its spot as the No. 1 team in the NCAA Regional rankings as well as the No. 1 team in the national coaches' rankings this week, continuing a season-long trend atop both polls.

Central Oklahoma has been the No. 1 ranked team in every Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association poll this season. Counting back to the 2018 season, that's 15 consecutive No. 1 rankings for UCO. The Bronchos have also been ranked No. 1 in both NCAA Regional rankings over the past three weeks.

Central has the top-rated Varsity 8+ boat, and the top-rated Varsity 4+ boat to make it a clear choice for the No. 1 team in the nation.

UCO is gearing up for some tough competition this weekend. The Bronchos are heading to Sacramento, Calif. for the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships on Lake Natoma. Racing begins Saturday, with finals set to begin Sunday.
