Five Bronchos Listed In Top 19 Of ITA Regional Rankings

TEMPE, Ariz. – The University of Central Oklahoma tennis team landed five of the top 19 individuals in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Fall Regional rankings.

The ITA will announce its team rankings next week.

Adel-Byanu Abidullina, Isabella Dunlap, Paola Landin, Mariona Franco Martin, and Nikki Boyar all appear in the rankings. Abidullina, a sophomore, is rated fifth, Dunlap, also a sophomore, is sixth, and Landin, a junior, is eighth. Franco Martin is 14th and Boyar is 19th.

Landin and Boyar also were tabbed as the No. 1 doubles team in the Central Region. The duo reached the ITA national quarterfinals earlier this fall after winning a regional championship. Abidullina and Dunlap were listed third in the regional doubles rankings.

Central Oklahoma had another strong fall season and is prepping for continued success in the spring. The Bronchos return to action this January.
