SHERMAN, Texas (April 8) –
Ryan Stoup hit a two-run triple as part of a four-run sixth inning that propelled Central Oklahoma to a 10-2 road win over Austin College here Tuesday night.

UCO then put the game away scoring three more runs in the seventh to go up 9-2.

"Anytime you can get a win on the road, it is a good thing, especially after a hard fought conference weekend," head coach Dax Leone said. "We still have some things we need to clean up going forward, including the free baseball we just played last weekend against Fort Hays. The reality is nothing up to this point matters if we do not go out and execute at a championship level these next three weekends."

With the win UCO improved to 25-9 on the season as they return to Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association play Thursday against Lindenwood in St. Charles, Mo.

The Bronchos had contributions from everybody in the lineup as a different player had each of their eight hits. Cesar Wong and Dylan Raper were the only starters without a hit but both players drove in runs to contribute to the offense.

Landon Hallam started on the mound forUCO and allowed both runs on four hits in four innings of work. Joe Hollowell pitched three innings of scoreless relief to earn the win and improve to 3-2 on the season.

Josh Ingram, Wong and Stoup all drove in two runs for the Bronchos. Tyler Crabtree also tripled, while Ingram and Matt Johnson both doubled.
