BOLIVAR, Mo. (March 7) –
Central Oklahoma took out its frustration on Southwest Baptist en route to sweeping a Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association doubleheader here Friday, winning 16-0 and 10-6.

"I'm really proud of our players today," said head coach Dax Leone. "Yesterday's loss hurt them as a unit, but winning both games today on the road says something about our club. Ricky Reeves was on point today and we swung the bats with conviction all day."

The Bronchos got a dominating pitching performance by Reeves in the first game. The junior right-hander allowed just three hits over six innings in the shutout as he improved his record to 3-0.

Reeves got plenty of run support as the Bronchos bashed 17 hits, including four home runs.

Phillip Wilson had his third multi-homer game of the season, going 3-for-5 with two dingers and three runs batted in. Wilson homered as part of the six-run fifth inning, then blasted another along with Matt Johnson in a seven-run sixth. Ethan Elroy added a pinch hit homer in the seventh.

Tyler Crabtree went 2-for-2 with a three-run triple and an RBI single, while Josh Ingram went 3-for-5 with three runs scored.

UCO rallied from a 3-1 deficit in the nightcap, with Tyler Price earning the pitching win after going 4 2/3 innings in relieft.

Crabtree tied the game in the third with a two-run single and added an RBI on a squeeze in the fifth. He was followed in the fifth by Ryan Stoup, who connected on a two-run homer to give the Bronchos a lead they would not relinquish.

UCO, now 11-4 overall and 7-4 in the league, will look to win the series Sunday with Jared Sterling on the mound for a 12 p.m. start.
