The Second Varsity Four race concluded the day for Central and finished with Nova outracing two Broncho entries.  The top UCO team finished in a time of 8:17.1, with the second entry crossing in 8:40.7.

"We had a great week of camp, our best yet," head coach Andrew Derrick said.  "We even raced pretty well with the exception of the eight, but so much hinges on that event so we know we need to continue to get better.

“We knew it was not going to be easy to race two very good Florida schools back-to-back this early, but that's the way it goes and we will just have to get faster.  I was, however, very proud of our two varsity and two novice fours, who really put together some great races."

The Bronchos will next travel to San Diego for the San Diego Crew Classic during the weekend of April 6-7.  During the 2012 Crew Classic, UCO finished second only to eventual national champion Humboldt State, whom they will meet again during this year's regatta.
