SAN ANGELO, Texas (Oct. 23) -- Central Oklahoma took control early and rolled past Angelo State in a Lone Star Conference mismatch here Thursday night.

The Bronchos overwhelmed the Rambelles from the outset, claiming a 25-19, 25-13, 25-23 triumph for their second straight league win in improving to 12-16 on the year and 5-4 in the LSC.  Click here for match highlights.

"We came out aggressive and played really well," UCO coach Jeff Boyland said.  "Anytime you can go on the road and win in this league it's good and I was really happy with the way we took it to them."

Kristen Wilson led a balanced attack with 10 kills, making just one error in 24 attacks in hitting .375 while adding a match-high 17 digs.  Kim Iten and Madi Serratt added six kills apiece, with Courtney Whitlow and Meaghan Wedberg chipping in five kills each.

The Bronchos dominated at the net with 15 blocks, getting five from Whitlow and three from Serratt.

UCO stays on the road to continue conference play against Abilene Christian at 7 p.m. Saturday.
