Caden Robertson, Dax Sharp Named All-Americans

Central Oklahoma Duo Earns Honors From Two Outlets

WINGATE, N.C. – Central Oklahoma outfielder Caden Robertson and starting pitcher Dax Sharp were both recognized on the National College Baseball Writers' Association All-American teams announced last week, with Robertson also earning the honor from the Division II Conference Commissioners' Association.
 
Robertson was named Central Region Player of the Year by the NCBWA, D2CCA, and the American Baseball Coaches Association, which announces its All-American teams next month. The senior from Magnolia, Texas was announced as a First Team All-American by the NCBWA and Second Team by the D2CCA.
 
Sharp was named First Team All-Region by the NCBWA and Second Team All-Region by both the D2CCA and the ABCA. He was named Honorable Mention All-American by the NCBWA.
 
Robertson and Sharp are the 24th & 25th All-Americans in school history.
 
Robertson led UCO's offense this season, hitting .358 over 52 games played (all starts in left field). He had a 1.242 OPS, a blistering .816 slugging percentage, and a .426 on-base percentage. Robertson scattered 76 hits and had 76 RBIs. He belted 23 home runs, tying the UCO school record for most in a single season (Ray Danzy, 2001). Robertson also had 20 doubles and four triples. He scored 65 runs.
 
Sharp led UCO's pitching staff with a 1.88 ERA through 12 appearances (eight starts). Sharp threw 62 1/3 innings, striking out 39 batters. The senior lefty from Pryor, Oklahoma had opponents hitting a meager .205 against him. Sharp threw two complete games, including a six-hit shutout against Missouri Western on Senior Day.
 
Central Oklahoma went 36-17 this season with a 23-13 record in the MIAA. The Bronchos earned the No. 4 seed in the league's 10-team postseason tournament and went 3-0 there to win the league title. UCO has won one MIAA regular season title (2018) and one postseason championship (2025).
 
The Bronchos were also given the No. 4 seed in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship Central Region, where UCO went 0-2 to end the season.
