SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Central Oklahoma finished third at the 2025 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Championships Saturday on Lake Natoma.
UCO earned 19 team points. Cal Poly Humboldt won the championship with 27 points, edging Western Washington by a single point. Seattle Pacific was fourth behind the Bronchos with 18 points.
Central Oklahoma got 10 points from its Varsity 4+ boat Saturday morning. The Bronchos finished second in the 2,000-meter championship race with a time of 7:58.80. In the Varsity 8+ championship race, Central finished fourth with a time of 7:23.32 to earn nine team points.
Central Oklahoma will now wait to see if its name will be called during the NCAA Division II Rowing Championships selection show, which airs Tuesday, May 20 at 5 p.m. Six teams will be chosen to compete for the national championship in New Jersey May 30-31 on Lake Mercer.
