Central Oklahoma Races Tulsa, Kansas State, Saturday In OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY – Central Oklahoma opened the 2025 season Saturday morning with five races against Kansas State and Tulsa on the Oklahoma River.

The Bronchos finished third in two early session races and second in another, then second again in second morning session before finishing third the final race of the day.

"It went very well for the girls," UCO interim head women's rowing coach Jimmy Francis said. "While the finish was better for Tulsa and K-State, our times were good. We know where we stand in real competition now. It was good to get started and we are already looking forward to the next race day."
