Bronchos Finish Fall Season With Three Wins

NORMAN, Okla. – Central Oklahoma moved back to No. 4 in the country in the latest GCAA Bushnell/Golfweek DII Coaches' Poll, announced Friday.

The Bronchos dropped from fourth to sixth in the last poll but have returned to the top five at No. 4 again this week. Lee University is the No. 1 team in the country moving up from fourth previously. Grand Valley State went from seventh to second and West Florida dropped from first to third in this week's poll. Florida Southern is fifth behind the Bronchos.

Central Oklahoma wrapped up its fall season earlier this week with the DBU Classic in Rockwall, Texas. In five fall tournaments, UCO won three of them and finished runner-up in the other two events.

UCO played 15 total rounds of golf and posted an average score of 278.7 this fall. Nick Canales led the team with a 70.0 stroke average, Baylor Bostick finished the fall at 70.1, and Bryant Polhill 70.4, through five events. Rhett Hughes (71.2) and Karsten Paciotti (71.7) also played in all five events for the Bronchos.

Central Oklahoma is off until Spring. The Bronchos return to the course in February with Southern Nazarene's annual Houston Classic.
