UCO Wraps Up Regular Season In Texas

FORT WORTH, Texas – Central Oklahoma wrapped up its final regular season race with another 5k at Dallas Baptist's Old Glory Gallup Saturday.

UCO finished 31st as a team out of 42 programs. The Bronchos were led by Freshman Gabija Pukstas, who ran the race in 19:37 to finish 105th individually and earn the Bronchos 94 team points.

Senior Genevieve Young was the next Broncho to cross the finish line and did so in 20:57, finishing 195th. Kylee Smith finished 246th with a time of 22:05, Maya Winterburn finished 263rd with a time of 22:28, and Gianna Weatherspoon finished 290th with a time of 23:28.

Central Oklahoma will now prep for the 2025 MIAA Cross Country Championships, Oct. 25 in Pittsburg, Kansas.
