Bronchos Finish 16th At OSU

STILLWATER, Okla. – Central Oklahoma raced to a 16th-place finish at Oklahoma State's annual Cowboy Jamboree Saturday morning.

New Mexico won the team event with 34 points while host Oklahoma State was second with 40 points. Lamar (76), St. Mary's, Kansas (158), and Incarnate Word (180) rounded out the top five. UCO scored 472 team points on Saturday.

Asia Williams was Central's top finisher, crossing the 6k finish line in 26:06.50. Ariane Williams was second on the team at 26:25.30, and Katlin Foster wasn't far behind when she crossed the line at 26:36.40.

Kandyce Reynolds (27.39.50) and Kylee Smith (28:01.90) rounded out the team scoring for the Bronchos. Maddie Gaxiola (29:02.30) also ran Saturday morning.

Central Oklahoma still has two more races left in the regular season. Saturday marked the first of three consecutive weekends the Bronchos will be on the course. UCO is scheduled to visit Dallas Baptist for the Old Glory Gallup next Saturday and will be at Emporia State for the ESU Invitational Oct. 11.

The 2024 MIAA Women's Cross Country Championships are scheduled for Oct. 26 in St. Joseph, Missouri, and the 2024 NCAA Division II Central Regional Championships are scheduled for Nov. 9 in Joplin, Missouri.
