UCO Takes On National Preview In Florida

No. 9 Central Oklahoma Among Stacked Field At PGA National In Florida

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Central Oklahoma continues its fall season this week with the National Preview at PGA National beginning Monday morning.

The Bronchos will make three trips around 6,995-yard Par 71 PGA National, the site of the 2025 Division II Men's Golf Championships, with two rounds on tap for Monday and the third and final round scheduled for Tuesday morning.

This week is just the second tournament of the fall for the Bronchos, who won The Mule at Mules National in Warrensburg, Missouri two weeks ago. This week also features nine teams ranked in the top 14 of the Bushnell Golfweek Top 25. UCO is No. 9 in the latest national rankings.

Nick Canales, Karsten Paciotti, Bennett Baldwin, Dylan Henderson, and Baylor Bostick make up the lineup for the Bronchos this week.

Canales also won an individual title at The Mule two weeks ago – his second title in two seasons with the Bronchos. The sophomore shot a 54-hole 201, including a scorching 7-under-par 63 in the final round of the tournament that pushed him all the way to the top of the leaderboard.

Paciotti made his UCO debut two weeks ago and finished 40th individually with a 12-over-par 222. The Texas native shot rounds of 75, 73, and 74 in the tournament.

Baldwin posted a 1-over-par 211 in his season debut. The senior from Stillwater and returning All-American finished ninth on the individual leaderboard.

Henderson also competed at The Mule and he finished with a 13-over-par 223 (77-75-71).

Bostick did not play in the first tournament of the year, but the sophomore appeared in 12 tournaments and finished with solid 73.39 scoring average for 36 rounds during his freshman season in which he also earned First Team All-MIAA honors.

Following this week's tournament in Florida, The Bronchos are also scheduled to play the Regional Preview at St. Joseph Country Club in St. Joseph, Missouri Oct. 7-8, the Ichabod Invitational at Topeka Country Club in Topeka, Kansas Oct. 21-22, and the DBU Classic at Rockwall Golf Club in Rockwall, Texas Oct. 28-29.
