Victoria Petschnig, Faith Brooks, Named CRCA All-Americans

UCO Duo Earns High Honor With First Team All-American Selection Following 2024 Season

WILMINGTON, Del. – The College Rowing Coaches Announced their 2024 All-Americans and two Central Oklahoma rowers earned the high honor.

Victoria Petschnig and Faith Brooks were both named First Team CRCA All-American by the CRCA, highlighting a successful season for the Bronchos.

"We are extremely proud of both Victoria and Faith for all of their hard work and their contributions to the program," UCO head rowing coach Jen Gilbert said. "They were so great for us both on and off the water. They are great teammates, great leaders, great student-athletes. We're going to miss them but we're glad they're being honored as All-Americans."

Brooks earned the honor this year to become the second rower in school history to be a three time All-American. The Georgetown, Texas native earned Second Team All-American honors as a sophomore in 2022, then First Team All-American honors as a junior in 2023. Brooks joins Megan Dwarshuis as the only three time All-Americans in school history.

Petschnig earned the title of All-American for the first time in her two-year career with the Bronchos. The Volkermarkt, Austria native came to Central as a graduate student and led the Bronchos to second and third place finishes as nationals in each of the two years she was in the boat.

Petschnig is the 25th All-American in school history (since 2008). UCO has had 25 All-Americans a combined 30 times since earning the first honor in 2012.

Central Oklahoma finished third at the 2024 NCAA Division II Rowing National Championships this season. The Bronchos were third in the Varsity 4+ national title race and also earned third in the V8+ title race for a third-place team finish.
