WINGATE, N.C. – Central Oklahoma dipped three spots in this week's NCBWA Top 25, announced Wednesday, with the Bronchos now No. 21 in the country.
Central Oklahoma is 32-10 this season, having equaled its win total from 2023 with six games left in the regular season. The Bronchos are also 18-9 in the MIAA and currently in third place in the league standings.
UCO is on the road this weekend to take on Washburn for a three-game MIAA series beginning Friday evening. The Bronchos are scheduled to host Northwest Missouri State in the final series of the regular season April 26-28 at Wendell Simmons Field in Edmond.
The 2024 MIAA Baseball Championship begins May 3-5 with the top four teams in the final standings hosting best-of-three series. The four advancing teams will meet in Pittsburg, Kansas for a double-elimination tournament to determine the league champion. The finals are scheduled for May 10-12.
