UCO Competes At Texas Relays

Bronchos Earn Top 15 Marks In Two Relays Races

AUSTIN, Texas – Central Oklahoma had two relay teams compete in the prestigious Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays Friday morning.
 
UCO got 14th in the 4x100 relay race. Mikayla Stephenson, Treasure Vallerie, Sai Brookins-Fleming, and Jakayla Swanson totaled a 48.54-second time in their heat and were 14th out of 27 squads.
 
Central Oklahoma came back for the 4x400 and the team featuring Brookins-Fleming, Kerrigan Huynh, Swanson, and Vallerie finished 13th with a time of 3:58.17 in their heat. UCO took 13th out of 28 entered relay teams.
 
The Bronchos are in Texas for a fourth consecutive weekend next week when UCO returns to North Texas for the Mean Green Invitational. Central Oklahoma competed at UNT in Denton to get Outdoor season started earlier this month.
