LEXINGTON, Ky. – Central Oklahoma jumped up to No. 6 in the country in the final regular season AVCA Top 25 released Monday.
The Bronchos improved to 30-2 this weekend with three straight wins to claim the MIAA Volleyball Championship. UCO awaits a Monday night announcement from the NCAA on its placement for the Division II Volleyball Championship set to begin Dec. 5-7 with eight regional tournaments.
UCO beat Emporia State, Missouri Western, and Nebraska Kearney to claim its first MIAA postseason tournament title since joining the league in 2012. The Bronchos have one regular season title in 2015.
Central Oklahoma earned the MIAA's automatic qualification into the national tournament and will make its first trip there since 2017.
