UCO Finishes Fourth In Kansas

EMPORIA, Kan. – Central Oklahoma hit the course again Friday evening with the Emporia State Invitational and the Bronchos finished fourth in the team standings following the 5k race.

Asia Williams led the team with a 26th-place individual finish that earned 16 team points for the Bronchos. Williams crossed the finish line in 22:02.15.

A trio of Bronchos followed her at 29th, 30th, and 31st across the finish line.

Kandyce Reynolds completed the race in 22:56.29, Ariane Williams finished in 23:22.49, and Katlin Foster crossed the line at 23:45.02. Maddie Gaxiola did not finish for the Bronchos.

Central Oklahoma is done with the regular season, but will now turn its attention to the MIAA Cross Country Championships Oct. 26 in St. Joseph, Mo.
