Three All-American Scholar Awards For Women's Golf

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – A trio of Central Oklahoma women's golfers were named WGCA All-American Scholars Thursday, earning the top academic award following the end of the 2022-23 year.

Madison O'Dell, Mika Ramos and Emma Shelley were each named WGCA All-American Scholars for their work in the classroom. O'Dell, a senior Mechanical Engineering major from Owasso, wrapped up her career with the Bronchos this spring. Ramos, a Psychology major from Tulsa, and Shelley, a Chemistry – Health Sciences major from Bartlesville, both just completed their junior seasons.

O'Dell, who utilized an NCAA eligibility extension due to the pandemic, earned the honor for a fifth time in her career. She also was named All-American Scholar in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022.

Shelley is now a three-time winner herself. She was named All-American Scholar in 2020 and 2021. Ramos was also named All-American Scholar in 2022.
