UCO No. 29 In Latest Rankings

TEMPE, Ariz. – Central Oklahoma is ranked No. 29 in the country in the latest ITA National poll announced Wednesday as the Bronchos prepare for their postseason this weekend.

Nikki Boyar and Blythe Buntrock continue to be ranked No. 4 in the country in the ITA Doubles Top 50, and Pete Komada is up to No. 24 in the ITA Singles Top 75. Boyar and Buntrock have a 14-5 record in matches this spring, including going 5-2 in the MIAA. Komada is 10-9 this season.

In addition to the ITA's rankings, the NCAA also announced their final regular season rankings Wednesday and the Bronchos are once again No. 2 in the Central Region.

The Bronchos begin the 2023 MIAA Women's Tennis Championship Friday afternoon against Northeastern State at Edmond Center Court. The NCAA will announce the national tournament field on Monday, April 24, with the regional rounds beginning May 1.
