All-American Honors For UCO Tennis Program

Central Oklahoma Finishes Year Ranked 27th, Earns Two All-American Honors

TEMPE, Ariz. – Central Oklahoma landed at No. 27 in the country in the final ITA rankings following the conclusion of the 2026 season.
 
UCO's standout doubles team of Mei Hasegawa and Pete Komada were ranked No. 6 in the country in the final ITA Doubles Top 50. The duo went 19-2 on the season and won their final 13 matches.
 
Hasegawa and Komada also appeared in the final ITA Singles Top 75. The sophomore Hasegawa is ranked No. 19 in the country and the senior Komada No. 67 in the country in the rankings. Hasegawa went 18-1 this season and Komada posted a 16-4 record.
 
The ITA All-Americans were also revealed with Wednesday's final rankings. The top 20 singles players and top 10 doubles teams are each recognized as ITA All-Americans this season.
 
UCO as a team went 18-4 this season including an 8-1 record in the MIAA. The Bronchos won the regular season MIAA title and also took home the MIAA Women's Tennis Championship title as well.
 
Central Oklahoma hosted the first and second rounds of the NCAA Division II Women's Tennis Championship in Edmond. The Bronchos hosted the Central Region II tournament and had their season end in the second round.
