UCO Finishes Third In Arkansas

FORT SMITH, Ark. – Central Oklahoma got a pair of top-five finishes, and three Top 10s, to earn a third-place team finish at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith's Hardscrabble Invitational Tuesday.

Caleb Kimmel and Bennett Baldwin both ended the 54-hole event with a 7-over 217 to tie for fourth place in the individual standings. Evan Griffith, from Greenwood, Arkansas, also finished ninth in the event with a 9-over 219.

Central Oklahoma posted a team score of 875, eight shots back of the leader. Henderson State won the team title (867) and HSU's Miller Harris won the individual trophy with a 2-under 208.

Kyle Hickey and Dylan Henderson both posted Top 20 performances as well for the Bronchos. Hickey shot a 13-over 223 and Henderson a 15-over 225. In a combined 15 rounds, none of the five Bronchos shot higher than 6-over-par.

Ross Taylor also competed for Central Oklahoma as an individual this week and he also joined the Top 20. Taylor shot a 17-over 227 to finish in 20th place individually.
